Currently a resident in a small town on the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia USA, RD Starmer has been writing since the 1990s. On his way to work one morning, a strange "sighting" inspired him to create, write, and complete his first novel, Zuvia. Working from a well defined outline and a map he created, it took him several months to develop and illustrate the story and characters. Likewise, the mysterious city of Zuvia was created using the author’s original illustrations, maps, and visual outlines. Also a musician, he took the concept one step further and developed a collection of music that coincided with the main events in the novel. Both, the book, and the music can be found on Amazon using ZUVIA as a search word.
Today, RD is writing the sequel to Zuvia along with a science fiction novel. He hopes to complete the sequel by the end of 2024 and the sci-fi novel by 2025.
